Accessibility
The Bruce Convention Center is proud to be fully ADA compliant. Our facility includes an elevator that provides access to every floor and area, ADA-accessible restrooms, and thoughtfully designed layouts that allow for additional mobility space.

Alcohol
Outside beverages, including alcoholic beverages, are not permitted inside The Bruce Convention Center. Additionally, alcoholic beverages served during events must remain within the facility and may not be taken off the premises.
Animals
Service animals covered under the ADA are gladly welcomed. Other animals must stay home. Our staff are instructed to ask the following questions to determine if your animal is permitted: “Is this dog a service animal required because of a disability?” “What task has the animal been trained to perform?”
ATM
There is an ATM on the first floor located in the lobby.
Baby Changing Stations
Each public restroom at The Bruce Convention Center is equipped with a baby changing station, including those located in both the Women’s and Men’s restrooms.
Decorations
Prohibited decorating items: confetti, glitter, and strong adhesive tapes such as duct tape. Speak to your event manager regarding our in-house décor options!
Dress Code
Appropriate clothing is required for all events, including a shirt and shoes.
Entrances
All public entrances to The Bruce Convention Center are located at the front of the building, with an additional public access point available under the carport on the side. Rear entrances are reserved primarily for event loading and unloading and
employee entrances.
Firearms/Weapons
Weapons of any kind are strictly prohibited.
Guest Conduct
We are committed to maintaining a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable environment for all guests at The Bruce Convention Center. Any individual who refuses to comply with facility policies, creates a disturbance, or poses a safety risk may be denied entry or asked to leave the premises at the discretion of facility management.
Hotels
The Holiday Inn and Suites is conveniently attached to The Bruce Convention Center via a covered walkway, while Hampton Inn and Comfort Suites are located just a few miles away, providing additional nearby accommodations for your guests.
Hours
Our office business hours are 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Our facility is open outside of these hours as needed for events occurring in the facility.
Inclement Weather
In the event of inclement weather, The Bruce Convention Center will work closely with event promoters to determine the best course of action regarding potential postponements or cancellations. We encourage guests to stay informed by following our Facebook page and the event promoter’s social media channels for real-time updates. If severe weather occurs during an event, please know that our staff is fully trained to follow proper safety protocols. For your safety, we ask that you comply with all instructions provided by facility representatives.
Lost & Found
The Bruce Convention Center maintains a log of all items lost or found during events. If you find a lost item, please turn it in to a staff member. If you’re missing something, stop by the office to provide your contact information so we can notify you if your item is located. For assistance, call the front desk at 270-707-7000 during office hours: Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
Nursing Room
Please reach out to a staff member to inquire about the availability of a nursing room. If available, we will find a suitable space to accommodate this need.
Prohibited Items
Outside food or beverages, personal cups or bottles, coolers, laser pens or laser products, air horns or noise makers, weapons of any kind, and any other item deemed unacceptable by management.
Restrooms
There are three sets of public restrooms on the first floor of the Convention Center, and one on the second floor. Each restroom includes ADA accessibility and a baby changing station.
Smoking
Smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited inside The Bruce Convention Center and within 25 feet of all facility entrances. Designated smoking areas may be available outside; please follow posted signage and facility guidelines.
Solicitation
Solicitation, distribution of promotional materials, or other printed materials is not permitted without prior written authorization.
Water Fountains
Water Fountains can be found throughout the venue.
Wheelchairs
Wheelchairs are available upon request for guests who may need assistance. Please speak with a staff member, and we’ll be happy to help.
Wi-Fi
WiFi at The Bruce Convention Center is complimentary and open to the public. For enhanced connectivity, secured SSIDs and dedicated hard-line connections are available upon advance request.
